Lord Baltimore Poe Grave Ghost Tour @ Lord Baltimore Hotel
Jul 19 @ 8:00 pm – 11:00 pm

Poe’s Magic Theatre is conducing ghost tours from The Lord Baltimore Hotel to the Westminster Burying Grounds at the corner of Greene & Fayette.

Tours will start in the lobby of the hotel. Get there early and have dinner at the LB Tavern before the tour begins. The Burying Grounds are only a 10 minute walk away.

Each tour will start with ghost stories and history of the Lord Baltimore Hotel and the we will begin our trek to the Burying Grounds. Along the way we will learn the Haunted History of Baltimore.

Does the ghost of little girl really haunt the halls of The Lord Baltimore Hotel?

Once we reach the Burying grounds you will learn:

  • The history of the Burying Grounds
  • The Tale of the Mysterious Death of Edgar Allan Poe!
  • The Macabre Tale of Frank the Body Snatcher
  • Stories of the Ghosts of Westminster
  • The Incredible Tale of “The Poe Toaster”

You will have access to the entire Burying Grounds and the “Catacombs” beneath the church! At the end of the evening (just before midnight) we will conduct a seance in the “spirit” of Edgar Allan Poe!

Vince Wilson

The tours are usually hosted by magician and paranormalist Vince Wilson. Vince has been on the Discovery Channel for investigating the ghost stories of the Edgar Allan Poe House as well as Destination America, the Travel Channel, featured multiple times in the Baltimore Sun and almost every local news channel! He is an author, Mystery Performer and Baltimore native and hosted the original Poe Grave Ghost Tours.

Some tours may be hosted by a special guest host! We will always have an experienced ghost tour guide for hosting duties.

Poe’s Haunted History Tours will be begin at 8:00 PM EST and end at Midnight.

Real Magic for Real People with Ran’D Shine @ Poe's Magic Theatre at The Lord Baltimore Hotel

With the flick of a wrist, the Philadelphia native has become a global phenomenon by wowing wildly appreciative audiences in over 25 countries and hundreds of American cities for over a decade.

Magician & Comedian Ran’D Shine is known for performing “Real Magic for Real People.” In other words no video edits, no actors, just pure mind boggling magic entertainment.

Over the past few years Ran’D has become one of the MOST sought after performers in the industry, because his show is Highly entertaining . Mr. Shine’s magical style draws from his playful interactive relationship with his audience combined with his psychological engaging illusions and sleight of hand.

A few of his accomplishments include featured performer, at the South African Arts Festival, perform at two Presidential Inauguration in Washington, DC., He’s one of the few magicians to perform on Gauntanomo Bay Military base and was seen performed on the CW network’s Penn & Teller: Fool Us. and BET network “Man on the Street” segment.

Beyond the stage, Ran’D was the subject in 2015 short film “Three Quarters” by Guggenheim Fellow Kevin Everson and featured in the documentaries “The Art and Soul of Magic: The Stories of African American Magicians” (2004) and “Quiet Masters of Magic” (2018). As a producer, Ran’D has produced the “Heart & Soul of Magic”, the first magic show in history to feature an all African – American cast of Magicians.

Dark Magic with David Parr @ Poe's Magic Theatre at The Lord Baltimore Hotel

David Parr is an internationally acclaimed magician who has devoted his life to sharing the experience of mystery with audiences around the world. Magic fans will recognize David from his appearance on the hit TV show Penn & Teller: Fool Us. There, David’s magic was put to the ultimate test in front of the cameras, a live audience, millions of TV viewers, and two very savvy Las Vegas magicians. (Spoiler Alert…) David fooled their faces off and not only took home the coveted Fool Us trophy, but also won a guest spot in their live show at the Rio hotel in Las Vegas!

David created and costarred in Chicago’s longest-running weekly magic show, which was chosen by the Travel Channel as one of the top nine magic shows in the nation! (Because top-ten lists are so passé.) His show David Parr’s Cabinet of Curiosities recently completed a successful yearlong run. And his new show, Dark Magic, is set to premiered in April 2019.

When David is not busy mystifying guests at corporate functions and private events, or performing at Hollywood’s prestigious Magic Castle, he devotes his time to theatrical endeavors. Around Halloween, David can often be found haunting atmospheric locations with shows such as Haunting History, a guided tour of the shadowy territory where history meets myth and folklore, or Visions of Poe, an interactive journey into the tales and poems of Edgar Allan Poe.

In the hidden world of magicians, David is best known for his theatrical performing style and for his writing and teaching skills. He has published several highly regarded books for magicians, been a technical consultant to many theatrical productions, given presentations at academic conferences, and provided guidance and instruction to magicians at lecture appearances across the United States and Canada. For a decade or so, he was a featured columnist, proofreader, and copy editor for the world’s top magic journal. His thought-provoking writings about the art of magic have also been featured in publications in Germany, France, Australia, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Sweden.
