PERFORMER
Aaron Fisher
Aaron Fisher is one of the most admired card magicians working today. His book The Paper Engine, first published in 2002 and now back in a 20th anniversary edition, is studied by serious sleight-of-hand artists everywhere; Michael Close called it one of the best books of card magic he has ever read. Techniques of his, like the gravity half pass, are taught in magic classes around the world.
He fell for magic as a boy, watching Bill Malone perform at his grandparents' beach club in Florida, and later learned card magic from Jack Burnman. Today he teaches through Conjuror Community, which he built with his partner Adam Grace, and he has performed and coached for Fortune 500 executives and Hollywood names.
At Poe's Magic Theatre he brings An Impossible Hand: an evening of inventive card magic with an ordinary deck and results that are anything but.
